Welcome to Healthier Habits!


I am a mum of 2 children aged 8 and 10. I have spent my career (until now) working in law and politics. When my first child was born 10 years ago, my interest in nutrition began to take hold. I studied an internationally accredited nutrition course and with that nutritional knowledge came an absolute passion to help families create healthier habits to live healthier and happier lives. I am a passionate advocate for living simply, eating whole foods and nourishing the mind and body for health and wellness.


Many people are struggling with health problems from minor aches and pains through to significant health problems such as heart disease and diabetes and everything in between including learning difficulties and behavioural problems. Increasingly people are looking for ways to lose weight and keep it off whilst living a life that is balanced, rich and without deprivation.

My philosophy is based on the innate intelligence of the body to tell us when something is wrong and to heal when given the right tools.


The most common question I am asked about health and wellness is where do I start? And regardless of what your health concerns are, whether you want to lose weight, have more energy, lose the foggy head, get rid of aches and pains or handle disease, my response is always the same – remove processed foods and chemicals from your life.


Our reality is that we live in a highly toxic world. And whilst we have access to modern conveniences that make our lives easier, we are also subjected to enormous amounts of mental and physical stress, chemicals in our food supply and a lack of knowledge and time to prepare foods that help our body to deal with these stresses.


When we are under stress, whether that is from pressure of time and responsibilities, exhaustion or the consumption of chemicals in our food and air, we have inflammation in our body. That may show up by a constant blocked or running nose, an ache in a part of your back, arm or legs, a rash or migraine or indeed any other manifestation of illness that you suffer from on a regular, ongoing basis without other explanation.


Family life is busy and preparing nutritious whole food is as important as every other aspect of our parenting. I am thrilled to be able to share with you my secrets to saving time and money in your life whilst living your absolute best life. It can be so easy, rewarding and fun.
